Formed in 2000 from musicians collaborating with Nerm in his DJ sets, SHIVA SOUNDSYSTEM has evolved into organisation that boasts DJs, producers, musicians, designers and behind the scenes staff based in East London. They put on regular events as well as tour a heck of a lot. They also regularly cover India & the USA and mash up festivals such as Sunburn Lovebox, Bestival, Rise & Glastonbury.

Their love & passion is the music that the UK gave birth to from alternative Rock, such as Punk to alternative Dance like Drum & Bass.

After slamming the floors almost 3 years back at the Taj Lands End, SHIVA SOUNDSYSTEM retunrs to the city on the eve of the release of their new album MUMBAI CELLS due for launch early 2009.

"We've been lucky enough to play in Goa over the years but never at India's very own music festival! Sunburn promises to be a blast with some amazing acts playing as well as our brothers-in-arms; Midival Punditz and Jalebee Cartel. sound check and setup)
2) Standard 5-piece drum-kit will b provided (no substance abuse, you
break it you buy it)
3) Bring your own bass pedals
4) Three accompanists per band
5) Everyone is subject to frisking (cigarettes lighter , matchboxes,
alcohol, dope not permitted)
6) Organizers not responsible for any of the bands' belongings; loss,
damage or theft of the same
7) Rs. 150/- entry fees for the bands to compete
