Karan Is the premier trance Dj to come out of India. And is also the owner of the first trance record label from India called Third Eye Records.
When he was the young age of 15 he was taken to his first trance party by his parents in Goa India. And after seeing all the crazy colorful people , fire dancers and the rhythmic and hypnotic 4x4 kick he was instantly infected by the trance vibe. At the time he was away at boarding school in Singapore and on his return from boarding school along with a few friends they started making small private trance parties on the outskirts of Bombay for 15-20 people . This little scene then started to spread and soon they were making outdoor parties for crowds of over 1000 + people , in farmhouses , jungles , islands , botanical gardens and even a full fledged 18 hole golf course which is where they made the first ever SPUN RECORDS party in India. Since then he has brought down and done gigs in India with artists like , GMS , Earthling , Skazi , Infected Mushroom , CPU , Talamsca , Xerox , Psysex , Silicon Sound Parasense , Neuromotor , Exaile , and many more.
In 2001 he founded Third Eye Records and had the opportunity to be the first Indian Dj to collaborate with trance legends and good friends GMS ( GMS vs Karan – Goa’n Mad TERCD002) . Karan started his Dj life playing at the massive Goa New Years parties at the legendary Disco Valley as well as Hilltop for crowds of over 3000 people. His dj sets are known to raise dust on the hottest Goa afternoons and are a creative mix of Spiritually inclined Goa trance , modern hi tech full on and general arms in the air anthemic trance tunes . He has always maintained a fine balance and managed to keep his sets pumping and strong without being dark! He has played alongside the biggest names in the business and had the pleasure to play around the world from Bombay to Goa , Dubai , Nepal , Thailand , New York , Bali , Portugal ,Italy, Ibiza!
